Antonio Brown drew backlash after taking a swipe at Tiger Woods, choosing to mock the golf icon’s latest crash despite his own turbulent history, and shifting focus toward an inflammatory remark on social media.

The post came shortly after Tiger Woods was arrested in Florida following a two-vehicle collision, and while authorities clarified key details about the incident, Antonio Brown instead turned the moment into a public jab that quickly circulated online.

Tiger Woods drives a car exactly how you would think a black Asian drives,” Antonio Brown wrote online after Tiger Woods was released from the Martin County Jail later on Friday night.

The timing of the comment amplified its impact, as Tiger Woods had just been processed and released on bail, with multiple charges looming, making Antonio Brown‘s decision to weigh in appear particularly pointed and dismissive of the situation.

Officials confirmed Tiger Woods faces charges including driving under the influence, property damage, and refusal to submit to a lawful test, although a breathalyser test returned a 0.00 reading at the scene of the crash.

Despite the negative alcohol result, deputies determined Tiger Woods showed signs of impairment, and he declined to provide a urine sample, which contributed to the charges now pending against the 50-year-old golfer.

Will Woods compete at the upcoming Masters tournament?

The accident unfolded on Jupiter Island in Florida, where Tiger Woods attempted to overtake a truck towing a trailer, and in doing so, clipped the vehicle before his own car tipped onto its side and slid along the roadway.

Law enforcement officials noted Tiger Woods appeared lethargic when they arrived, reinforcing their belief that he was impaired, even though no alcohol was detected, and no drugs or medication were reportedly found at the scene.

Sheriff John Budensiek indicated that investigators were not focused on alcohol involvement, instead pointing toward other factors, while also confirming that Tiger Woods refused further testing beyond the breathalyser.

Tiger Woods managed to crawl out of the passenger side of the vehicle after it came to a stop, and although the crash looked severe, no injuries were reported, either to him or to the driver of the truck involved.

This incident adds to a troubling pattern, as Tiger Woods has now been involved in multiple vehicle-related episodes over the years, including a serious 2021 crash that left him with significant leg and ankle injuries.

That earlier accident required emergency responders to extract him from the wreckage, and it marked a turning point in his career, leading to a lengthy rehabilitation process and a reduced competitive schedule.

More recently, Tiger Woods has been attempting to return to form, including an appearance in the TGL Finals, while also managing recovery from an Achilles injury and previous back surgeries that continue to affect his performance.

“[My body] doesn’t recover like it did when it was 24, 25,” Tiger Woods said previously. “It doesn’t mean I’m not trying. I’ve been trying for a while. I want to play.

“I love the tournament. I’ve loved being there since I was 19 years old. It’s meant a lot to me and my family over the years.

“I don’t know [if I’ll play]. We’ll see how it goes. I’ll be practising, playing at home this week and keep trying to make progress.”
