The chemistry between Angel Reese and her former LSU teammate, Hailey Van Lith, is on another level.
Both players are currently sidelined, as the rookie continues to deal with an ankle injury and the 23-year-old forward continues to be bothered by her persistent back injury.
After being selected by Sky with the 11th overall pick in this year’s WNBA Draft, Hailey is looking to achieve similar results to those she achieved on her college team, where she averaged 17.9 points. Now, in Chicago, Van Lith averages 4.2 points per game.
However, despite her absence from the court, they have made their presence felt on social media.

In addition to their passion for basketball, Angel and Van Lith share a love of fashion. The looks they choose for game day are acclaimed and highlighted by fans, who eagerly await their outfits.
The young rookie wanted to show off her fashion sense and shared 10 photos on her official Instagram account showcasing her wardrobe choices.
“Like your fav H,” she captioned her post, adding a white heart emoji.
Of course, fans left comments highlighting her beauty and great choice of clothing: “10/10,” said one of them. “The 4th and 3rd from last,” said another of her followers. “10s across the board,” said a third.
However, her teammate Angel Reese also couldn’t decide on a single outfit, responding only with “all” and a heart-eye emoji.
Meanwhile, the Chicago Sky are not having a good run. Their 73-66 loss to the Golden State Valkyries marked their seventh consecutive defeat, and with a record of 7-20, they are in second-to-last place in the league, ahead of only the Connecticut Sun (5-21).
Now, Van Lith and Reese’s team will fight for a much-needed home win when they host the Phoenix Mercury (16-11) at Wintrust Arena on Sunday, August 3.
