Angel Reese‘s second season in the WNBA looked promising, and it seemed like she was going to have it all: she was named an All-Star for the second consecutive year, broke records by reaching 500 points and rebounds, and averaged 14.2 points, 12.6 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 1.5 steals per game.

However, Reese has already missed eight of the Chicago Sky’s 10 games since the All-Star break due to her back injury.

She recently addressed her millions of followers and shared her latest project on her official X and Instagram accounts.

Angel announced her new collaboration with Reebok and unveiled her innovative sneaker design. “The Angel Reese 1: Diamond Dust. Made for the spotlight” they wrote.

The sneakers will go on sale on September 18 of this year and feature a combination of colors: “Diamond Dust,” “Receipts Ready,” and “Mebounds“, in pink.

In addition, the two-time All-Star’s collection will also feature sportswear inspired by her passion for fashion and her competitive and daring spirit on the court.

This new project, in addition to presenting fans with a new sports offering from the forward, is also linked to and seeks to defend people’s rights and her foundation’s efforts to combat cyberbullying.

Meanwhile, there is no date set for her return to the court with Sky to show off her new shoes. Coach Tyler Marsh has indicated that she will only return to the team when she is completely ready. “I’d leave that to the medical staff,” Marsh said. “For us, it’s just making sure that she’s as healthy as possible.
