The coach of the Kansas City Chiefs fired a warning message to the Pittsburgh Steelers as Andy Reid calls for his players to maintain their high standards next time out after beating the Houston Texans on December 21.
The defending Super Bowl champions won 27-19 at the Arrowhead Stadium to move past a resurgent CJ Stroud as they continued their unrelenting march to the 2024/25 NFL Playoffs on Saturday.
And there is no rest for the coaching staff either as they instantly go to work figuring out how to stop Russell Wilson and George Pickens‘ Steelers side, who they face in Week 17 on December 25.

But after Patrick Mahomes’ triumph against the Texans in Missouri, Reid made sure to praise the quarterback and the entire team after what he heralded as their finest performance of the season so far.
“All in all, I thought this was our best game,” Reid told reporters on December 21. “Offensively, defensively, and special teams-wise.
“We’ve got to keep going, though, we’ve got a lot of room to improve. We’ve got to make sure that we keep doing that, and we’ve got a short turnaround to get that done against a good football team.”
How to watch Chiefs vs Steelers?
The Chiefs now boast a 14-1 record and have sealed their status as AFC West winners, with their only defeat coming in a 30-21 game with Josh Allen’s Buffalo Bills at the Highmark Stadium on November 17.
Provided the Bills beat the New England Patriots on Sunday, December 22, then a victory over the Steelers on Christmas Day will mean the defending champions can no longer be caught for the lead of the AFC Conference.
That could then give them the chance to rest their key stars against the Denver Broncos in the final regular season game to ensure the likes of Travis Kelce, Mahomes and DeAndre Hopkins enter the playoffs with a clean bill of health.
The Kansas City Chiefs vs Pittsburgh Steelers will be broadcast live from the Acrisure Stadium in Pennsylvania by Netflix, who recently streamed the Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul fight to mixed reviews.
