The Las Vegas Aces’ 106-87 victory over the Dallas Wings wasn’t the only reason for A’ja Wilson to celebrate.
During the game at Michelob ULTRA Arena, the 28-year-old center had an excellent and remarkable performance: in 30 minutes of play, she scored 34 points and became the team’s and game’s top scorer. She also added eight rebounds, one assist, and a new career record.
Wilson makes history again
A’ja set a new personal record after the game against the Wings, becoming the player with the most games in league history with more than 20 points, more than 5 rebounds, more than 2 steals, and more than 2 blocks.

As if that weren’t enough, A’ja also became the WNBA Western Conference Player of the Week. “A continues to get it done on both ends of the floor, leading the league in combined stocks (STL + BLK) 27.0 PPG, 13.3 RPG, 1.3 SPG, 2.3 BPG, 48% FG,” wrote the team’s official account to announce this new achievement.
Now, the Las Vegas Aces (21-14) are preparing to face the Atlanta Dream (22-12) on Tuesday, August 19, at the Michelob ULTRA Arena.
