A baby hammerhead shark fell from the sky onto the Splinter City disc golf course in South Carolina.

The curious precipitation, in the purest Sharknado (a saga in which a hurricane sucks sharks from the ocean that then fall from the sky to attack the population), occurred on the 11th hole while several matches were being played.

“It’s not unusual to see an osprey carrying something, but pay attention because it’s really cool. I thought it would be just any fish,” explained witness Jonathan Marlowe in Garden & Gun magazine.

How could the hammerhead shark fall from the sky? Was it sucked up by a tornado? Was it hunted by a bird that dropped it?

Jonathan Marlowe believes that the hammerhead shark, which can grow up to six meters long and weigh 450 kilograms as an adult, was dropped in the air by an osprey.
