As the weeks have been going by, the promising options for Shedeur Sanders in the NFL Draft 2025 have been fading in a worrying way, to the point of being projected within the multiple scenarios in what for many is the worst destination for a Quarterback.
We are talking about the Cleveland Browns who have not tired of trying several players in this crucial position without any positive note.
Shedeur Sanders hits bottom in draft predictions
Many are debating whether or not the QB out of the Colorado Buffaloes actually has first-round draft pedigree. For many he may be a future Pro Bowl and All-Pro, but for others he may flop in the attempt and be forgotten.
Within almost all NFL Mock Drafts Cam Ward is placed as the No. 1 pick for the Tennessee Titans; although many came to think of Shedeur at that position until all scenarios come to a discouraging one proposed by NFL analyst Lance Zierlein.
In Zierlein’s Mock Draft 3.0 the Quarterback, son of Deion Sanders, sinks to the 24th position, chosen by the Cleveland Browns. A spot that actually revalues him after finishing in the analyst’s 2.0 at No. 29.
Cleveland Browns to strengthen their defense
Before Sanders, in both Mock Drafts, the Browns would select Penn State’s Abdul Carter at the No. 2 position, and the moves the New York Giants made end the Hype of placing the QB in the Big Apple.
The hiring of Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston strengthen Zierlein’s prediction, and the message is clear from the Giants. With Brian Daboll and general manager Joe Schoen in jeopardy, it seems absurd to think they will place their trust in a rookie QB.
Coach Prime previously said he’d like his son to land with the New York Giants, and he even thinks it’s possible… But what will he think or say if Shedeur ends up with the Cleveland Browns?
