The club, which decided to close its doors on Wednesday as a sign of mourning, concluded the statement by remembering the family and friends of Camilo. “We accompany his family, friends and teammates in this difficult time, putting ourselves at their disposal for whatever they need,” they added

According to Argentine media, the operation was due to a torn meniscus and cruciate ligaments in his knee. A fatal outcome whose causes are still unknown. “Apparently, from what is rumored, it was an error of the anesthesiologist, of the application of anesthesia. Although, I can not certify it until after the autopsy,” said Camilo’s father in Telenoche.

“The surgeon was the only one who spoke to us, he told us that when he was taking the second graft to replace the ligament, he was told: ‘Stop, stop, he has gone into cardiac arrest'”, continued the father of the deceased young man

“I told him in his ear before they took him away that I was going to go to the last consequences to know what happened. I think it was malpractice. Yesterday we came in the car laughing, we told an anecdote of when he was a child… Today he entered the operating room and an hour later they tell me that it has been complicated that they are reviving him. And automatically another one comes out from inside and tells me that he has died,” said the father.
